Katie and Sheng approached me just after I arrived in New York. It was at a Swedish cafe in Greenpoint where I met them the first time. They were such a friendly and relaxed couple. I immediately liked them. Sheng has a Chinese background, and so the wedding was a mix of Western and Chinese style. The Chinese tea ceremony was very new for me. Katie wore a beautiful, red Chinese dress, which I loved. For the location shoot we went to Grand Central Terminal and The Campbell Apartment. As you may know, The Campbell Apartment was sadly recently closed. It was very fortunate that we got to photograph at this beautiful, old and classic bar.
As I have left New York, this wedding was my last in NYC. It was a special one for me in many ways. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity, Katie and Sheng. I hope you two will be happy together for a long time.
