Location: New York

Katie and Sheng approached me shortly after my arrival in New York. Our first meeting took place at a charming Swedish café in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, where I was immediately struck by their warmth and charm. Sheng’s Chinese heritage infused their wedding with a captivating blend of Western and Chinese traditions, highlighted by the enchanting Chinese tea ceremony – a new experience for me. Katie’s attire was a striking fusion of cultures, with her elegant white dress complemented by exquisite antique accessories, and her stunning red Chinese dress adding an unforgettable touch of vibrance.

For the location shoot we ventured to iconic landmarks such as Grand Central Terminal and The Campbell Apartment. Despite the unfortunate closure of Grand Central’s beloved secret bar, ‘The Campbell Apartment,’ the bar’s timeless ambiance provided the perfect backdrop for capturing unforgettable moments. (In 2017, this bar reopened under the name ‘The Campbell’)

This wedding marked the culmination of my time in NYC, making it all the more special. Katie and Sheng, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been your wedding photographer. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together.
